We’re Hiring a Master Carpenter!

Are you a skilled carpenter looking for consistent, indoor work with a small, passionate team? Elevated Tides, a leading builder of innovative tiny homes, is seeking a full-time Master Carpenter to join our growing team in Happy Valley, Oregon.

About the Role

As a Master Carpenter, you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for the precise and efficient construction of tiny homes from framing to finish work. All work is performed indoors within our warehouse, providing a stable and comfortable working environment year-round.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Install doors, windows, and hardware.

Perform interior and exterior finishing, including trim work, cabinetry, and siding.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and building codes.

Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of carpentry.

Strong understanding of building techniques, materials, and tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
