Job Summary:
As an HVAC Technician at Mt. Hood Ductless, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and servicing heating and cooling systems—with a strong focus on ductless mini-split systems. You'll interact directly with customers, diagnose system issues, and help them find the best comfort solutions for their space.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (especially ductless heat pumps)
-Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups
-Diagnose performance issues and recommend solutions
-Ensure all work meets local code and manufacturer specifications
-Maintain professional communication with customers and team members
-Accurately complete service documentation and reports
Qualifications:
-2+ years of HVAC experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
-EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied conditions (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
Oregon HVAC license a plus
