Oregon-Canadian Forest Products is looking for experienced maintenance team employees. Maintenance Technicians are in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment to ensure the facility maintains operating at its full potential. We are looking for an individual who is a self- starter and can work independently and possesses the ability to use common sense to accomplish the tasks required efficiently and effectively; they should have a practical mind and attention to detail. This person will also be expected to work in tandem with other team members when necessary.
We are a 3rd generation family-owned company, located in North Plains, OR right off of Highway 26! We have been producing high grade clear lumber for over 40 years and are looking for stellar employees to join our maintenance team!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining the overall condition of the yard including preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
Manage emergency spill kits, equipment, and stations throughout the facility. Manage Hog conveyer function and cleanup.
Manage all waste and recycling bins throughout the yard. Landscaping and facility upkeep.
Facility painting. Weatherization of the facility.
Oiling and greasing machinery as needed.
Performing and documenting preventative maintenance around the facility. Assisting the Maintenance team with projects and preventative maintenance around the facility.
Drive company dump truck.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Reliable transportation.
Must be willing to work in the elements.
Must be willing to work weekends or overtime shifts when needed.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Computer knowledge and usage.
Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
Valid driver's license.

We are looking to fill positions in our swing shift (3:45pm to 12:15am) immediately! But have needs in our day shift (7am-330pm) as well!
Hourly wage is depending on experience. We are eagerly searching for candidates that have experience in welding, fabricating, electrical, plumbing, mechanical & carpentry. Depending on each candidate's level of experience we can compensate accordingly.
