Our Facilities Maintenance Division is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to come to work with us and to help us grow this division. We are seeking an experienced MaintenanceTech to join our team in Vancouver, WA. You’d be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our managed properties. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work indepentently, problem solve, diagnose issues, and prioritize responsibilities and repairs in a fluctuating work environment while maintaining a consistent commitment to excellent customer experience.
Essential Functions:
Maintains facilities and grounds based on customer needs.
Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all on-site equipment, including compliance with all health, safety and OSHA programs, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for including and not limited to painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, HVAC diagnosis.
Occasionally responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after-hours "on call" maintenance requests at a higher pay rate.
Compliance and attention to company policy while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Job Duties:
- Maintenance and basic repair experience of HVAC equipment.
- General diagnostic abilities for electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Experience performing plumbing related repairs or replacements of commercials faucets and toilets.
- Experience repairing, finishing, and painting drywall.
- Experience replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
- Experience using powered and non-powered hand tools used in construction and maintenance related tasks.
- Knowledge of maintenance related parts and components and ability to identify and source them.
- The ability to work well alone and in a team, environment is a must. Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
- Strong communication skills, professional, friendly, and good decision-making capabilities.
- Professional and comfortable interacting with other staff, clients and building managers.
- Experience in any of the trades is welcomed and encouraged.
