We are seeking an Apartment Facility Maintenance Tech II in the Portland Metro and McMinnville areas to assist in the overall completion of apartment unit turnover, repairs, renovations, work orders, projects and on call emergencies within the property. The position will be directly responsible for carrying out all duties as assigned by Community Manager and Maintenance Mgr.
Rate of pay $29-$30 an hour DOE
Responsibilities include:
Apartment maintenance, and minor repairs.
Performs daily service, routine and preventative maintenance in units, apartment. maintenance including prep work and painting, common areas and all grounds.
Prepares move-in inspection report with new and vacating residents.
Assists with lock-outs, and emergency work-orders that may arise.
Repairs plumbing, electrical, appliance and carpentry for complex.
Tracks key/lock system and changes locks as needed.
Installs new appliances such as dishwashers, ranges and refrigerators and may install new hot water tanks.
Coordinates and/or completes all work-orders; refers special requests to Site Manager.
Provides courtesy services for tenants, such as delivering packages, routine and preventative maintenance for pool/spa.
Hauls garbage as needed.
Repairs and repaints interior and exterior of common areas as needed.
Requirements:
Clear background check as it relates to family housing.
Reliable transportation.
2+ years previous Apartment Maintenance experience: carpentry, plumbing, electrical & appliance.
Must have Basic hand and power tools.
