Resonant Works Studios is casting friend groups (or anyone interested in auditioning) for a new direct-to-social food show!

- Explore Portland’s food and coffee scene with your friends 3×/week
- We pay you AND buy all the food/drinks
About Us:
Resonant Works Studios is an ethically-driven and sustainability-conscious AI-powered media and integration company in Portland that produces original, locally focused digital media plus business consulting and workshops. Be Different. Be Kind. Be Human! We prioritize human creativity and local storytelling; thoughtful use of AI is just one tool in our toolkit. This show will NOT be about AI or use AI during filming. Our ethical AI integration work helps create new jobs and fund shows that boost awareness for local businesses.
What We Are Looking For:
- An existing friend group (2–4 people) - but solo auditions are also welcomed!
- You make each other laugh and love Portland + Oregon
- You enjoy most types of food + coffee/matcha/boba
- You can commit as a group 3×/week (flexible days/times; but reliability is key)
- You want to showcase and support local businesses
- You are okay with being on a "family friendly" show
- You can be creative to "keep things interesting" without being vulgar or rude
- You are able to improvise in any situation and generally not feel awkward on camera
- You are comfortable being on camera without performing for the camera. We want to capture fun, unscripted, real moments!
- You must sign a release for footage use (we own all media created)
- You’re willing to meet on location (within 1 hr of downtown Portland via transit)
What You Get If Hired:
- $16.30/hour
- Food/drinks covered by production (all non-alc)
- 3 hours/week (1 hour per shoot)
- W-2 employee status
- Access to limited benefits, employee-paid (pre-tax transit passes, FSA/HSA, 401k options)
Additional Requirements/Info:
- If in a group, your entire friend group may not be cast together
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to present valid ID if hired (not needed for audition)
- Mask-friendly working environment + audition. If hired, some shoots may involve eating at restaurants indoors. You can always opt-out of indoor eating, we are happy to make accommodations as needed
