Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team full-time as a Sales Lead and Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have knowledge of torque converter and transmission applications. This role is office-based, offering regular hours from Monday to Friday (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and troubleshooting.
Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, turnaround times, and shipping dates.
Assist walk-in customers in purchasing products that meet their needs (limited interaction).
Manage and nurture relationships with high-volume customers.
Utilize product knowledge to recommend solutions and provide expert advice to customers.
Stay informed about new products and industry trends to enhance customer service.
Support marketing efforts through collateral development, website updates, and potentially social media engagement.
Requirements:
Aptitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Previous experience in customer service with a friendly and positive demeanor.
Ability to maintain composure and provide solutions in stressful situations.
Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing items weighing 50+ lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with automotive and manufacturing industries.
Sales experience within the automotive sector.
Knowledge or experience in racing applications.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience; this is not a commission-based position.
