Groundworks Industries is home to a collection of brands that seek to provide knowledgeable and artful experiences that set new standards for the purchase and experience of cannabis. We are looking for curious and passionate individuals to help us build an inclusive and professional cannabis culture.

We're actively recruiting a Facilities Coordinator to carry out preventative maintenance plans, lead new equipment installations and repairs, maintain and repair essential equipment and the facility itself, and take a customer-driven approach to ensuring the operation has functioning tools and equipment to meet daily production, quality, and safety goals. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of boiler and chiller systems and HVAC units.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a strong commitment to the success of the organization.

High attention to detail with low tolerance for unmet expectations

Possession of "soft skills," including the ability to communicate thoughtfully and with respect toward others. A positive, flexible attitude and a common-sense approach are essential.

High degree of flexibility, with a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit

Demonstrated abilities in facility maintenance or specifically plumbing, HVAC, or electrical with the accompanying skills to perform the required tasks facility-wide.

Consummate team player.

Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.

Must have the ability to operate a wide range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.

Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment, HVAC, irrigation, and electrical systems.

Effective plumbing skills with general irrigation equipment, PVC pipe and fittings.

Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Marijuana's Handlers Permit.

Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations required for working in the cannabis space.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Have interest in the cannabis industry and be culturally aligned with Groundworks' mission

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, sit and kneel daily in retail and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and, in some instances, staircases.

Ability to operate lifts, perform work on lifts, perform work on ladders.

Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.

Absent conditions that would prevent the occasional use of PPE such as safety glasses, dust masks, etc.
