Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in office software.
Duties
Utilize computer literacy to perform data entry, create sales orders and manage correspondence with customers and brokers/account managers.
Answering customer emails
Assist in filing and organizing documents to maintain an orderly office environment.
Operate office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely.
Requirements
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook. EDI and ERP system preferred but not required.
Excellent phone and email etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and with customers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in an office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Hours
Monday through Friday
5 – 6 hours per week, with flexibility.
