Paid Time Off:
Eligibility: All employees are eligible and will receive Paid Time Off. PTO hours are
accrued from your first day of employment, however you are not entitled to use or be
paid for those accrued hours until the date which is 90 days from your first day of
employment.
Accrual: PTO hours accrued each pay period unless you are on unpaid leave of
absence for more than 24 hours in a pay period, in which case no hours will accrue for
that period.
Accrual is based on the following schedule:

Direct Support Professionals:
Date of hire – 2nd anniversary date 5% of hours worked
2 years or greater 8% of hours worked
Management (Floor and Medical Supervisors):
Date of hire – 2nd anniversary date 8% of hours worked

Job Duties/Requirements:
Assist participants with physical transfers, toileting, hygiene, and meal preparation.
Maintaining knowledge of participant diets and allergies.
Ability and willingness to perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
Offer companionship and ability to work individually with participants and in large group settings.
Leading activities such as board games, arts and crafts, gardening projects, reading aloud to participants, and more.
Maintaining confidentiality regarding participants and families at all times.
Completing daily documentation of activities and events.
Must be at least eighteen years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to confidently follow written and verbal instructions.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in acceptance of assignments and a cooperative attitude toward providing services.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Must display good emotional health and be able to perform basic physical actions required for care giving such as standing for long periods, bending, transitioning, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
Preferred minimum of one years work experience as a caregiver (can include private care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.) but experience is not needed, we will train you!

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
