Test and Pack Associate
Our Client is a locally owned and operated company, nationally known and respected as a leader in developing and producing affordable, easy-to-use data-acquisition products (probeware) for science classrooms and labs worldwide.
Summary
Test, validate, and package various types of measurement products. Must be familiar with computers and pay close attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Tests and validates various scientific probeware and computer interfaces to product specifications. Uses test program to identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
Follows test and packaging procedures to ensure all product specifications are met.
Labels and packages product
Assembles boxes and inserts by hand, packing tape, and/or shipping tape.
Assembles accessory items (i.e., small parts kits) needed for processing a work order.
Quality assurance inspection of all products
Collects and enters manufacturing process data
Participates as a team member on process and continuous improvement projects.
Processes work orders and inventory transactions and records defects in the ERP system.
Requirements
Familiarity with an MRP/ERP system for processing work orders, inventory transactions, and recording defects
Intermediate computer skills such as email, word processing, and spreadsheet databases.
High School diploma or equivalent, and six months related experience, or combination of education and experience.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm
Pay: $18/hr
