This is an active hands-on position in a team environment focused on safety and continuous improvement. The successful Production candidate will utilize their electromechanical skills to build TigerStop products to established quality standards and meet our customer’s expectations for on-time deliveries.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assemble internal and external components to documented specifications

Read and interpret schematics and layouts to assemble electrical components

Use hand tools to complete the build

Working with 120 V power

Perform in-process inspections, conduct testing, and troubleshooting of components to ensure assemblies meet quality standards

Set-up simple fixtures, stops, and other aids to facilitate build operation

Cross train to learn assembly methods for multiple products; Flex to build other products as trained when the schedule requires

Create visual layout and manufacturing triggers as applicable

Make suggestions about improvements to work area and/or build process

Support and participate in all planned training programs

Communicate shortages or production roadblocks immediately and plan alternate activities

Job Qualifications:

Skills, Education, and Certifications:

High school diploma or GED required, and relevant vocational training and/or college coursework a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude required with proven ability to use a variety of manual and power tools. Experience working in an electromechanical production environment with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills strongly preferred. Basic computer skills, email, and experience using an ERP system preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

Able to safely lift to 75 lbs. Ability to walk and/or stand for entire shift (commonly 10 hours) with occasional stooping or kneeling during assembly tasks required by the position. The production environment is subject to moderate noise levels when using power tools. The general warehouse and production areas are not subject to extreme fluctuation in temperature.
