Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and adaptable Maintenance Technician to join their growing team at a leading manufacturing facility. This role involves maintaining a mix of advanced automated systems and traditional production equipment in a fast-paced, clean, and safety-focused environment. If you have experience in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems and a passion for hands-on problem-solving, this opportunity is for you.

This position is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon, with 12-hour day and night shifts available on alternating schedules, including weekends.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various production lines, including older machinery and advanced automated systems.

Address mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and boiler system needs to ensure optimal performance.

Conduct preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to emergency repair needs.

Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC systems, AC/DC motors, and advanced electrical controls.

Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building upkeep.

Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Operate and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines.

Collaborate with the production and mechanical teams to address maintenance needs efficiently.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with mechanical systems, electrical repairs, and pneumatic equipment.

Knowledge of European or older machinery is a plus.

Familiarity with PLC systems, motor controls, and advanced automation technologies.

Welding, HVAC, or boiler system expertise is preferred.

Ability to read and understand technical documents and schematics.

Must provide personal tools; tool carts and replacements for breakages are supplied.

Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation: $28.88/hr + $2.50 differential for night shift. (DOE)
