Learn to do long arm quilting!
This is a part-time on-site role as a Longarm Quilting Machine Operator at NW Quilting located in outer Southeast Portland, OR.
Once trained the days and times you work can be somewhat flexible.
As a Longarm Quilting Machine Operator, you will be trained to run computerized sewing machines to finish quilts.
This included loading the quilt on the machines, setting up the pattern on the computer, positioning and starting the sewing.
Other jobs include (but not limited to) data entry, customer service including answering phone calls, measuring fabric and cleaning.
About 10 hours per week(flexible), Amount of hours may expand over time as the business grows.
Qualifications
Attention to detail, Consistency is critical
Ability to follow instructions with precision and double check your work regularly.
Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for long periods of time, ability to lift bolts of fabric
Strong organization and time management skills
Sewing and computer experience is a plus but not required.
