Powell's Books is looking to hire a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist.

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will support the strategic development of customer lifecycle marketing plans and execute initiatives across email, SMS, and related channels. This role plays a key part in driving customer engagement and retention by building thoughtful approaches to segmentation, testing, and automation. The Specialist will work cross-functionally with marketing, e-commerce, design, IT, and analytics teams and is accountable for revenue growth from these channels.

This is an opportunity to help build out Powell's SMS, email and other marketing automation programs from the ground up. As we augment our Klaviyo toolset and pursue a significant revenue growth goal for this fiscal year, we’re looking for someone with strong experience in lifecycle marketing and retail e-commerce. The right candidate will bring speed, agility, and accuracy to their work, and have the chance to shape a high-impact program that’s just getting started, powered and in collaboration with our new ecommerce platform.

This is a remote role; Oregon residency is required.

The regular schedule will be 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri, for a 37.5 hour workweek.

The wage is $24.50 per hour, or more, depending on experience.
