Solar Energy Solutions is looking for intermittent help. In the past this position has been very popular with students as we can accommodate a variety of schedules and orchestrate project around a student's busy life.
This is an entry level position and a great opportunity for someone looking to get some experience in the solar industry and general contacting.
We are mostly a solar service company. This means you will get hands on experience working on solar electric systems, solar hot water heating systems and solar pool heating systems. Some of the things you will do and learn are: rooftop safety and fall protection, design, system layouts, mounting, wiring, conduit and plumbing runs, repair work, common solar parts and much, much more.
To be considered, a person must be extremely physically fit and able to work under the most strenuous of environmental conditions. Solar installation work is both physically and mentally difficult work and consists of conditions including and not limited to high temperatures in summer and cold and wet in the winter, ladders extended 40 feet, steep roofs with cliff like fall offs, hot attics, insulation and using a variety of power tools for work.
A professional appearance is required and applicants should be personable, willing to take direction and able to maintain a positive and pleasant attitude.
Pay is $20.00 to $25.00/hour depending on capabilities and experience. Frequent and Rapid increases in wages are the goal. The work is intermittent and dependent on the workload.
