Small family owned business needs your warehouse/shipping skills

Ditch the corporate, large company politics, and come work for our family business! Position available to start March 1, 2025. We are a local sales rep organization that operates a shipping warehouse for several small businesses in the industrial lifting industries. We are looking for someone to help us handle our daily orders, shipping and receiving, and generally maintain our warehouse space. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, drive a forklift, and understands that cleanliness and an orderly environment is key to success. Must be able to lift 30 - 80 lbs on a daily basis, and have excellent communication skills. This job comes with quite a bit of flexibility, and a chance to really make the space and the position your own. You will be dealing with shipping companies like UPS, FedEx, and also LTL freight companies as you prepare, package, and document your orders. Some basic computer skills are necessary, along with an ability to understand and communicate in English. There won't be a boss breathing down your neck, you will be working side by side the owners of the business, and they value someone who can be depended on to do the job, drama free! We operate daily M-F and do not expect weekends. Zero tolerance for chemical substance abuse, and you must be able to pass a standard background check. Reliable transportation is essential to the job. Starting pay is negotiable, based on skills of applicant.
