Our firm represents manufactures of industrial products used in Packaging, Paper Converting, Lamination and Product Assembly. We are seeking an individual with, at least a basic knowledge of the electrical and mechanical aspects of machinery found in factories. Successful representatives can usually answer Yes to all of these questions:
Can you change your cars oil?
Can you use a meter to check continuity and amp draw?
Are you able to follow printed instructions and component parts illustrations such as those found in technical manuals?
Can you work with computer programs
Must be able to communicate effectively by phone or in person. Some travel, both U.S. and international required. Must have a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment criminal background check. Once trained this position will turn into a shop management position.
Shop management duties will include but not limited to:
Manage day to day shop operations
Schedule in-plant service calls
Oversee troubleshooting
Scheduling repair and rebuilds both in shop and in plants
Scheduling time off for shop personnel
You will work with new and existing customers to help them maintain their equipment and to train their maintenance personnel. Will be repairing and rebuilding customers equipment in our shop as well as in the customers plant.
