Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

If you have good maintenance skills, a great attitude, and concern for customers by providing exceptional service, we want to talk to you! This is an on-call part-time position, servicing multiple properties, with a guaranteed two consecutive days off including 2 weekend days. On rare occasions you may work Saturday or in an emergency Sunday.

Summary

Under the supervision and at the direction of the Property Manager, perform moderate to difficult repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain the condition and appearance of the property and systems in our owners homes and our residents' living in them.

Duties

Interior and exterior common area upkeep including litter patrol of parking lots, trash enclosures and laundry rooms, community center and carports, and pressure washing of buildings and interior walkways

General Repairs and maintenance such as minor plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs. Changing locks, doors, repairing siding, paint etc.

Actively coordinate and participate in resident turnovers and completion of maintenance requests

Timely and professional response to ongoing maintenance needs within prescribed response guidelines

Participation in after-hours on-call service as may be needed

Property Inspections to ensure tenants are caring for the property and to identify maintenance concerns.

Occasionally post legal notices as assigned

Other duties assigned as required and necessary

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

High school diploma, GED, or related experience

Minimum of two years of maintenance experience in the areas of, appliance repair, basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting and carpentry.

Valid driver license

Good driving record

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Functioning smart phone

Property management or housing maintenance experience preferred but not required

Have your own tools to perform general maintenance and repairs

Ability to quickly and efficiently diagnose a repair or maintenance issue and complete the repair

Able to read, understand and follow written instructions

Ability to complete reports in detail and on-time

The ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service to residents and the public

Ability to bend, pull, climb ladders, lift equipment and supplies regularly up to 50 lbs and occasionally 80 lbs.

Ability to work in confined spaces

Ability to treat customers/residents with positivity and respect
