NWV Group is seeking a qualified, full time maintenance technician for turnovers and work orders for our Portland metro area properties, with a focus on apartments and single family homes. The ideal candidate will have established knowledge of and experience with general maintenance, light carpentry, electrical and plumbing repair, painting, and grounds keeping, and possess excellent customer service skills.
JOB DUTIES:

- Complete apartment turnovers thoroughly and efficiently
- Complete work orders as needed
- Help ensure that preventative repairs are done
- Respond to maintenance emergency situations as needed
- Ensure that properties are in accordance with all applicable building codes, ordinances, fire codes and emergency evacuation regulations
- If needed, perform routine maintenance checks of properties and identify problem areas.
- Work both independently and as a member of a team effectively.
- Maintain good public relations and interact with clients, customers, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1 year (2+ years preferred) property maintenance experience with apartments/plexes and/or single family homes
High school diploma or equivalent
Must own operable and reliable vehicle
Valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance
Ability to effectively work with a team
Demonstrate customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Uphold high level of ethical behavior and integrity at all times
Take initiative to anticipate problems
MORE INFO:
Compensation set at $28 - $33/hour, depending on experience
