We have a strong and tightly knit team here, how you conduct yourself in front of clients and your teammates is equally as important as any physical attribute you may have
If your customer service is on point and you are pulling your weight then you can clear $35+ per hour any given shift as tips can add $10+ to a savage mover's wages
Entry level moving labor wage starts at $22.50(+)/hour plus We pay a $10-$20 Travel Bonus per job
2-HOUR MINIMUM PER JOB GUARANTEE - Labor Wage always includes a 2-Hour Minimum, pro-rated in 15min (0.25 hour) increments thereafter. (SOME JOBS CAN TAKE 15-30 MINS AND STILL PAYS 2-LABOR MINIMUM BILLED TO CLIENT)
You have full control of your schedule with us, just tell us what days you are available on a weekly basis and take the days off that you need. Weekends and Mornings are our busiest times and we value those who can work most Saturdays and/or Sundays. Many shifts can be 1/2 days or less when arranged.
Part-time job to start, 10-15 hours a week to start depending on your availability and that of our client's and specific job requirements and skill levels needed Earn your stripes and prove that you are trustworthy, dependable, on-time, clean/sober, and not afraid to sweat and work hard for 8+ hours when needed and we will have a review meeting within your first 3 weeks to discuss an adequate raise.
Fuller time (15-35+ hours/week) definitely available to those who want and can handle the work! This is not your average 9-to-5 but the perks add up proper even for part-timers
Cash to start, then Weekly Payroll. We are generous at offering raises quickly to people who earn them! As previously mentioned, First performance reviews happen within 3 weeks and with first raise we require payroll.
No employee is required to take out of town jobs but many of our crew members enjoy out of town jobs. We will go anywhere a customer pays us to go. Some days are short and easy while other days may require 8+ hours of hard work and driving in traffic and solving puzzles/problems and being patient and working safe as a team.
4 Requirements to apply
1) You must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to reach various local job-site locations from where you live (travel bonuses increase based on further distances from PDX Metro to cover gas and then some)
2) No major felonies or convictions within the last 7 years. We need honest people we can trust when unsupervised working in the homes of families and pets and children and their personal belongings
3) You must be able to lift 75LBS over your head and 150+ LBS to your waist repetitively while able to go up/down stairs +/-8 hours when the job requires. (We are good at scheduling extra crew members to reasonably distribute physical and mental weight and we book lots of easy elevator jobs too)

We prefer excellent employees we can train over solid movers that come with drug problems, reliability/dishonesty/theft issues, overbearing know-it-all attitudes, etc We will ask why you aren't working for other moving companies and check your sources. Many of us here have been doing this and other physical labor for over 10 or 15 years so we can tell a lot from a little. We do very much value team players with excellent moving experience and track records and can discuss higher entry level pay if you aren't full of impatient or sloppy shortcuts and tricks)
