We are looking for a responsible and dependable female individual to move into our home and provide basic care for our parents who still have the ability to get around for the most part but are in need some assistance.
What you get is a place to live, all utilities included, and monthly base pay.
You will also get two days off a week
This would be a room and board in-home care position.
We are offering a room of your own with a monthly pay base (cash) in trade for providing in-home care assistance for our parents. You would be providing in-home care in exchange for living arrangements. This would be a room in the home of your own, all utilities included – water, sewer, electricity, full use of our home for you, food, use of the washer, dryer, use of the family vehicle for medical appointments and household shopping for our parents, WIFI, and cable. All is included plus a base pay.
Your responsibilities would be to care for our parents and their daily needs, the basics such as cooking, cleaning. Making breakfast, lunch and dinner. They eat very small meals so this would not be very time-consuming. Keep the home clean and safe, laundry when needed. Give them their meds as you remind them that they need to take them. Moms health needs will require a little extra attention. She will need to be cleaned up and changed several times a day. They will need to be reminded to take a showering, personal hygiene, mostly just being there. Dad gets a sponge baths every other day, that seems to work the best.
Mom will take a bit more effort due to her meds and will require additional effort throughout the day and night. This can be discussed once we have found the right person and fit. You need to be responsible, dependable and accountable.
