Job Overview

Duties

Chart prepping: gathering labs, imaging, and documentation before patient visits.

Rooming patients, recording vital signs and reviewing medications.

Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and performing initial assessments.

Assisting providers with procedures and preparing clinical spaces.

Supporting the flow of the clinic by sharing responsibilities with fellow team members.

Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and documentation.

Processing instruments and maintaining compliance, for the clinical area.

Support patient care by providing education on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans.

Utilize basic life support techniques as needed during emergencies (on the job training).

Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.

Learning and assisting with allergy testing and immunotherapy

Preferred Qualifications (on the job training available)

Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or LPN or previous clinical setting is preferred.

Medical terminology and medication knowledge.

Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) procedures effectively (in office certification available).

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Familiarity with taking vital signs accurately.
