Hi, my name is Courtney and I’m a retired RN who is offering services as an End Of Life caregiver and Death Doula in the Portland/Vancouver area. A death doula serves a similar role as a birth doula, around preparation/planning and support for the inevitable end of life and death process. Birth and death are each sacred, normal life events that deserve equal attention. My goal is to help fill that gap in our death phobic society by providing non-medical compassionate practical, emotional and/or spiritual support for clients and their families during this pivotal life transition.

- Light housework/caregiving including laundry, dishes, gardening, cooking, errands, taking care of beloved pets, transportation, professional companionship and/or travel companion
- Caregiver respite
- Emotional and psychospiritual support and guidance
- Household organizing and downsizing (also known as Swedish Death Cleaning in Scandinavia)
Rates start at $40/hour.

About me:
I'm 48 years old in good physical health. My car is reliable, insured and I have a clean driving/criminal record. Transparency and honestly are very important to me; I can provide strong personal/professional references and am glad to share otherwise about myself as requested.

- RN in Medical/Surgical, Women’s Health, Hospice from 2004-2020
