Summer is here and we are a high volume bakery in Vancouver is looking for experienced Bread Bakers & a Weekend Baker to join our team. We have established a reputation of producing high-quality fresh pastries along with popular lunch and brunch items. We have been a thriving part of the Vancouver culinary scene and are looking for creative, energetic, detail-oriented individuals that genuinely enjoy the food service industry to join our team.

Knowledge of all aspects of bread production.
Organizational & timing skills and ability to multi-task effectively, with an eye for detail.
Ability to work independently.
Willing to contribute to our team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours a day.
Ability to manage pars.
A passion for baking high quality breads.
Self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
Commitment to quality food and customer service.
Must have high standards and take pride in your work!
Requirements:
Possess current WA food handler s card.
Bread Shift begins at 6pm M-F
Weekend Baker Shift 2am to 10am Sat-Sun
Minimum 1 year production baking experience or culinary education
Job Duties Include but not limited to for Bread Baker
Making bread from scratch, including sourdough, English muffins, coffee cake and other breakfast pastries
Preparing items for the following day
General production support
Washing dishes and general cleaning
WEEKEND BAKER Job Requirements include but not limited too
We are looking for the candidates with the following attributes:
Knowledge of all aspects of production (batters, doughs, fillings, fruit prep, pastry creams/curds, pie dough, etc.)
Organizational & timing skills and ability to multi-task effectively, with an eye for detail.
Confidence to work independently while understanding this is a team environment and willingness to help out when needed to create a positive work environment
Making pastries, cookies and desserts from scratch
Baking off and Packing daily pastry orders
Preparing items for the following day
General production support
Washing dishes and general cleaning

Pay is $20 - $23 per hour DOE (including tips).
