Job Description
Friendly and attentive individuals needed to share the love at SOMA Kombucha's Vancouver farmers market booth on Saturdays and Sundays. I need one more person for the team, you will generally work both days every other week but might be asked to work an additional day here or there.
Please apply only if you're available all or almost all weekends now until Sept. You will be paid a bonus for working all scheduled shifts.
The shift will start at our taproom on Main St in Vancouver either 7:45am (Saturday) or 8:45am (Sunday). You will load your personal vehicle with kombucha and market supplies, including a 12"x12"x60" canopy (please apply only if your vehicle can fit this, a 4 door sedan or larger will work fine, a small 2-door coupe or hatchback may not). You will drive to the market, set up, sample and sell delicious kombucha, then drive back to the taproom and unload. Market itself is 5 or 6 hours (Sunday and Saturday, respectively).
Job Requirements:
Previous retail experience
Ability to work for 5-6 hours on your feet with bathroom breaks and snacks/lunch eaten on the job. You will be working solo at the booth so it needs to be staffed as much as possible during open hours, longer food breaks can happen before or after the market.
Love for kombucha, nutrition, and sharing these with all different people
Experience meeting/exceeding sales goals
High energy, positive attitude, motivated to work all scheduled shifts
Attention to detail, excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
Ability to work well with others and solo
Reliable vehicle - sedan or larger.

Pay is $18/hr plus tips (average $20-40/day), plus $20 in trade for each day of the market. $18/hourly includes a Reliability Bonus of $.50/hr for all hours worked, paid at the end of the season.
