Lead Cooks Needed For Busy, High energy restaurant & bar in Ridgefield, WA.
We are searching for a few more Line Cooks that can match our enthusiasm and drive for creating great food in a fun atmosphere. Our menu focuses on creative and delicious spins on American favorites.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, seasoning meats and preparing sauces)
- Ensure your station and equipment meet health department codes
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of all stations on the line
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Be able to fully open and close the kitchen
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Essential Duties of the Job
- 3+ years proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef in a fast paced atmosphere
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Wide range of recipes and dietary needs
- Be able to work in a standing position up to 9 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
