JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver Wanted
Hot Mama Salsa is looking for an independent, reliable, and personable driver to join our delivery team. Schedule will be Thursday from 5:30am-2pm and Fridays from 6-1pm, schedule averages from 14-16 hours per week. Opportunity for more days and hours possible. Driver will be responsible for delivering our fresh perishable salsas, tortilla chips, hot sauces, and Mexican style chili oils to grocery and restaurant customers in the Portland metro area. Basic Job Description:
-Provide reliable and friendly service to our customers
-Be efficient at mapping routes throughout the city
-Be able to problem solve on the fly
-Pay close attention to detail and procedure
- Pick up product from our production kitchen in SE Portland and deliver to our grocery and restaurant customers
- Engage in friendly interactions with receivers
-Stock product on grocery shelves
- Communicate issues and information related to products to managers
- Familiarize yourself with brand and product lines
- Observe, report and provide insightful feedback
- Represent the values of the brand
-Take loving care of our rad Chevy Astro Van
REQUIREMENTS:
-Valid OR or WA drivers license
-Clean driving record
-Comply with food safety guidelines
- Outgoing personality
- Able to comfortably work within restaurant and grocery store environments
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ideal candidate has passion for brand advocacy
- Be willing to drive to various locations throughout the greater Portland area
- Ability to work independently
