Join us.General Summary:Are you a problem-solver with a knack for improving platform functionality? Join our team as a Software Engineer I and become a vital part of our operations. In this role, you'll manage and resolve ServiceNow incident tickets, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure a seamless experience for internal business partners, such as leave specialists, eligibility specialists, and contact center representatives.A general understanding of the FINEOS platform is preferred, enabling you to support and enhance its capabilities. Key skills required for this role include proficiency in programming languages (such as Java, C#, or similar), problem-solving abilities, familiarity with agile methodologies, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and development. Additionally, you will contribute to estimating the work required to deliver new software features.Join us and be a part of a dynamic, collaborative environment!This is a hybrid role requiring 2x onsite per week at one of campuses in Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN, and ColJob Specifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent relevant business experience

2+ years' experience with demonstrated success at the Associate level in software development and software development practices or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of FINEOS is preferred.

Experience in ServiceNow and incident management is a plus.

Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and navigate time-sensitive conversations.

Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail

Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies

Demonstrates strong focus on quality delivery and delighting customers; holds self to high standards of delivery

Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Resolve incident tickets through ServiceNow, with a commitment to quick turnarounds (24-48 hours).

Follow incident triaging guidelines, focusing on critical concerns.

Handle escalations using Rally and provide research support to the escalation team.

Troubleshoot and fix issues on the FINEOS platform related to FMLA and STD, leveraging your knowledge to identify root causes.

Participate discussions in situation rooms to address complex problems, coordinating with external stakeholders when needed.
