DescriptionThe AWS Global Campaigns Virtual Programs (GCVP) is seeking a Marketing Program Manager to work on key global campaigns. Marketing Program Managers are counted on to provide the structure, discipline, and momentum to deliver campaigns on target per campaign objectives. The role is the advocate of campaign process and the predictor of hiccups before they happen. The Marketing Program Manager should be the best dot-connector on the planet, keeping stakeholders regularly in the loop and act as a whole-lifecycle thinker to ensure every angle is covered as efficiently as possible. Passion for working with cross-functional teams to deliver results is a must. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to work backwards, starting with customers, stakeholders, and any related team owners. You work to understand their needs/problem(s) and you incorporate their context into campaign planning and workback timelines.Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be comfortable organizing and driving the development of high-volume, quality content and messaging that feeds marketing channels. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable navigating through rapidly changing priorities.
Act as the point person for agency management in content development
Traffic deliverables through reviews and approvals (or managing asset reviews and approvals)
Open or raise tickets through appropriate mechanisms, such as Workfront and SIM
Manage campaign or program development timelines and tasks in Workfront.
Escalate project risks and ensure performance is tracked and measured.
Establish milestones and drive sensible deadlines. You manage project communications and may serve as the first point of contact between agencies and stakeholders related to content development and related milestones.
Ensure the right information about the state of a project is delivered to the right audience at the right time (e.g., status reports, metrics reports, etc.).
Articulate scope, timeline, owners, risks, and the steps to mitigate those risks at each stage
Question and look for process improvements to each campaign or program.
Engagement with cross-border stakeholders and work within in a global team across time-zones
A day in the lifeEvery day is different as a Marketing Program Manager. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively on projects, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You will collaborate with other teams, track project progress, and share updates with key stakeholders. You will be checking the daily health of a campaign or program’s progress from development to delivery in Workfront. You will be communicating regularly with creative agencies on content development and quality. You will be opening tickets for different tasks and workstreams. You understand campaign or program content at a high level, enough to participate constructively in planning and optimization discussions. 2+ years of program or project management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience with a project management tool, like Workfront or Asana
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market.
