CarpenterPaying $22.00 / HR - $25.00 / HRLocation - Portland, ORResponsibilities:
Tearing out drywall and replacing with new depending on layout needed for the next job site.
Using basic hand and power tools on the job.
Will use a spray gun to paint interior and exterior of the trailers.
Could be tearing out flooring and replacing with laminate or tile flooring.
Document when things are completed on the trailer using a paper method system.
May use a forklift to move or lift things around the yard (only if the operator is not able to do that).
Help clean windows, blinds, doors, floors and walls if someone doesn't need swapped out.
Qualifications:
"Handy Man" type skills or someone that has been the maintenance for apartment complexes translates well. No certifications or specific licenses are required. Mechanically Inclined, coachable, and someone that has pride in their work and isn't afraid to get dirty.
Environment/ Shift:
Working in shop where they drop off units to be repaired and sent back out to construction sites. Smaller shop with 15 technicians.
Day shift.
