Assistant Controller

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Assistant Controller, based in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be a key member of our client's team, performing a variety of tasks related to accounting functions and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions, ensuring smooth daily operations Utilize Accounting Software Systems to process financial transactions Handle month-end management tasks including closing and reporting Prepare and review complex journal entries and consolidations Conduct financial statement preparation and reporting Manage and perform billing functions accurately and efficiently Perform reconciliation review and make necessary adjustments Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular audits Investigate and resolve financial inquiries and discrepancies.Requirements Proficient in ERP Demonstrated ability to perform Accounting Functions Competency in Month End Close procedures Skilled in Financial Statement Preparation Ability to handle Journal Entries Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
