Job Description:
We currently have available a full-time position for a Structural Drafting Manager with 3-15 years of experience. Salary is commensurate with experience and ranges between $70k-$100k based on the qualifications described below.
Candidates will be evaluated/selected based upon their commercial building drafting/modeling experience with timber, concrete, masonry, and steel, and and have effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience producing structural plans, details, and notes will be a must. Good interpersonal skills are also required as management and office interaction will be part of the candidates’ responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a relaxed office environment while helping to guide and build our Portland office. Our commercial building division is involved daily in a wide variety of building projects ranging from retail to multi-story commercial structures, high end residential, mid-level multi-family housing, K-12 schools, medical, retail, industrial, and seismic retrofit projects.

Minimum Requirements:
3+ years’ experience of structural drafting and/or BIM in the commercial consulting engineering industry.
Proficiency with drafting/modeling related programs, specifically Autocad and Revit Structure. Experience using
BlueBeam is also a plus for this position.
Ability to work independently, and with a team, and take direction.
Solid organization skills.
Understanding the importance of excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
