At Cojon LLC we specialize in commercial steel fabrication and installation. We are a small company and have plenty of work lined up for the next year. Including Starbucks, Chipotle, Concrete Tilt up buildings, apartment complexes. That are going to require fabrication and installation drawings.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings for steel structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, or Tekla Structures required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce detailed steel design drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Review and modify designs based on feedback and project changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in steel design and drafting, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing].
- Proficiency in design software such as Inventor Tekla Structures, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
