Paradigm is seeking a Senior Technician (PLS-CADD) to support our client, a leading full-service geospatial solutions provider. We are looking for someone with expertise in transmission line engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and aptitude for applying remotely sensed data within PLS-CADD software to model transmission lines.

As a Senior Technician, you will:
Model and update lines in the 69kV to 550kV range in PLS-CADD to comply with the client’s standards, specifications, preferences, and relevant industry standards
Apply remotely sensed data (LiDAR) to existing transmission line models in PLS-CADD with neatness and a small margin of error
Perform structural analysis and design of structures (pole, lattice, framed, and guyed)
Specify transmission line components
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
At least 1-year related experience in transmission line engineering
Technical Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER
Proficiency with MicroStation is desirable
Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in the production of transmission lime models in PLS-CADD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
US Citizenship is required due to contract obligations
