We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our codebase, drive new product and feature development, and contribute to overall system architecture and design. As a startup we need to move fast, but also want to be thoughtful and intentional about developing a high-quality, scalable platform. Qualifications:- 5+ years as a Ruby on Rails engineer
- Experience writing client-side JavaScript applications with React, AngularJS or other libraries/frameworks
- Experience with Heroku, Postgres, Git, AWS, and Docker
- AWS /Cloud knowledge expected
- Comfortable in a startup environment
- Exhibiting excellent code hygiene by writing clear, maintainable, and scalable code
- Demonstrating a quality mindset by writing and maintaining tests
- Working with teammates to understand business requirements and objectives
- Troubleshooting and debugging application issues
- Contributing to overall system architecture strategy and design
- Establishing and evangelizing engineering best practices
- Providing coaching and mentoring to other engineers as we grow our team
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- SaaS products knowledge
- Server side template knowledge desirable
- JavaScript, Angular, HTML5 & CSS knowledge
- Knowledge in Databases technologies
- Working knowledge in source control
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skill
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
- Manage risk and change with an agile approach
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related work experience
