We are Smockville Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten. We are a small non-profit school house in Old Town Sherwood that serves the primary class (ages 3-6 years) open Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM until 2:30 PM.
We are looking for an energetic, caring person that can work independently and as a team member to help with breaks, cleaning and care of the children. This is a part time position, Monday thru Friday covering either the morning or afternoon hours. Additional hours available as a substitute and special event days. No experience required, we will train the right person.
If you have a child that is 3 to 6 that is fully potty trained, we offer a staff discount for tuition.
Requirements:
At least 18 years old
Oregon Criminal History Registry
Willing to obtain in the first 30 days of employment:
Pediatric First Aid and CPR
Recognizing and Report Child Abuse and Neglect certification
Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety
Safe Sleep
Oregon Food Handlers Card
