Certified family child care home located in SE Portland is hiring for a care giver for that is energetic and enjoys working with young children in a mixed aged setting ages 3 months to 3 years.
We operate two in home facilities open M-F 8 am -5:15 pm. Caregiver duties will include engaging with children during a variety of activities, meal prep, and daily cleaning of child care space at one or both of our child care facilities.
Experience working with groups of infants and toddlers, and/or some early childhood education experience is preferred.
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Registered in the Oregon Central Background Registry through the Early Learning Division-Office of Child Care
Required to obtain upon hiring-
Pediatric CPR/First aid certificate
Food Handler Certification
Recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect: RRCAN
Health and Safety training
Sleep training
Foundations for learning training
Other annual early childhood development related training will also be available
Hourly wage: $16-$20 per hour DOE & qualifications
Health insurance available after 90 days of employment
