Job Description:
Barefoot Sound, a leading designer of boutique recording studio monitors, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The Shipping Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that our products reach our customers safely and on time. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of our shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, inspect contents for accuracy, and verify against purchase orders.
Assist with quality checks on products received and shipped.
Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, and stock receivables.
Properly package outgoing shipments to ensure safe and secure delivery.
Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves and accurate counts.
Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and arrange courier pickups.
Coordinate with all departments to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
Add shipping details to invoices.
Submit Shipping documents to accounting and dealers once an order has shipped.
Inform Shop Manager/Ops Manager about low inventory of shipping supplies.
Address and resolve shipping and receiving issues efficiently.
Engage with customers, vendors and drivers with their respective needs.
Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
A self-starter mentality with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills is a must.
The ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for long durations of time.
Must be able to lift 30lbs. -80lbs. from floor level and transfer 50 lbs. from tabletop.
Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours per day.

Pay: $19-$22/hour depending on experience
