We are a small private practice looking for a highly enthusiastic but professional individual who is a great team player. Attention to details, good customer service skills, and reliability is a must. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people and has great communication skills.
Here is some of the tasks expected from an Ophthalmic Technician:
Pre-testing patients (working with equipment such as OCT, Retinal Imaging, Auto-refractor, Visual field machine)
Verifying patient insurances
Front office receptionist (checking patient in and out as needed, answering phones, etc)
Verifying patient appointments
Taking care of patient referrals
Communicating with pharmacy as needed and faxing patient prescriptions
Frame adjustment and minor repairs
Our hours are set to provide best work /life balance. We are open Monday to Thursdays from 8am to 5pm and come to office one Friday a month for staff meeting and admin.
We do provide Medical insurance benefits, vision benefits, IRA retirement contribution, PTO, paid holidays.
We prefer at least one year of experience but we are willing to train the right individual that fits our team best.
