To learn more go to www.sahpendleton.orgResponsibilitiesJob Summary:The Supervisor Clinic Front Offices assists the Director Physician Practice with general supervision, direction, and support of the daily operations of the front office of clinics in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. In the absence of the Manager, the supervisor has oversight of clinics front office operations.Essential Functions:

Provides workflow and support to the front office staff, assists the manager with identifying operational issues, and provides guidance for resolution.

Works with individual clinic management and medical staff, to evaluate, monitor and enforce clinic specific protocols, procedures and objectives; maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and standards.

Ensures charging/ reimbursement changes are integrated into front office of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinics front office teams.

Monitors the payroll system to help control employee time management.

Assists the Director Physician Practice to facilitate training of new hires, reoccurring training, and other training initiatives.

Participates with the clinic management in pre-employment interviews and makes recommendations regarding hiring. May also be responsible for hiring positions in area of responsibility.

Monitors utilization of staff and supplies in assigned areas, and recommends appropriate adjustments to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care.

Monitors compliance with policies, implements plans and recommends revisions as needed.

Monitors and maintains licensure certification requirements for assigned staff.

Supervises day-to-day clinic front office operations in the absence of the Director Physician Practice.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED

Three (3) years related experience in a clinic/physician office

Preferred Qualifications:

Current AHA BLS Certification

Coding Certification

Specialized or technical training from a college or technical school for coding, medical assistant
