Summary of Position:
This role is vital part to our office staff and team as a whole dealership. One in this role will be responsible for titles and be working on our accounts payable and receivables. The Office Administrative Assistant will work closely with our office staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency of daily office operations. One will complete accounts payable/receivable daily and directly oversee the titles for the dealership. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in this area of expertise, strong organizational and communication skills, will need to be detail oriented, able to follow processes through their entirety and have basic knowledge of accounting practices.
Duties & Responsibilities: (will include but not limited to)
Process accounts payable/receivable.
Assist with contracts and accounts payable.
Complete the daily deposit.
Process title work for the dealership.
Filling out title applications and handling all basic title work.
Call DMV(s) and customers when needed about title work information and/or needs.
Conduct a daily check-in of new inventory; when applicable.
Assist with answering phones for the dealership and office.
Assist with overflow office work.
Assist with office filing.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
1-2 years of accounts payable/receivable experience
1 year minimum of experience in accounting (automotive preferred)
2-3 years of Title Work experience in a dealership
Strong data entry, typing and mathematical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel
Strong customer service and phone skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication (oral and written), analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task under little supervision
Must be able to pass a background and drug test prior to employment
