About the Position
The Line Cook must be proficient in all kitchen duties. The Line Cook is responsible for food preparation, food cooked to order and clean up.
Furthermore, the Line Cook performs duties in a conscientious, customer-service oriented manner to ensure a high-quality guest experience and that customer needs are consistently exceeded.

Job Responsibilities:
Fill out & perform daily kitchen opening duties checklist, when applicable
Ensure all items in walk in/reach in are stored and labeled properly
Manage putting away and organize incoming orders
Assist other Cooks in any requested tasks
Ensure recipe integrity and portion control is being upheld
Ensure appearance meets standards
Ensure performance meets standards
Ensure kitchen is visually presentable throughout the day
Ensure kitchen protocols adhere to sanitation & food safety regulations
Maintain a safe and respectful work environment
Ensure entire required prep list is executed daily
Communicate low stock alerts
Fill out & perform daily kitchen closing duties checklist, when applicable
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum two years experience in dining restaurants with a zeal for comfort food.
Knowledge of preparing/cooking using a wood fired oven for pizza and other dishes - strongly recommended.
Point of sale computer experience desirable – Kitchen monitor is used for all incoming orders.
Ability to interact with customer, coworkers, and management in positive, supportive, cooperative ways.
Knowledge and ability to effectively communicate
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment, perform duties under pressure, and in a timely manner.
Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, see, talk, hear, lift up to 80 pounds, carry, push, pull or move objects.
Ability to read, understand and comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment at all times.

Food handler’s card
OLCC Server Card – a plus
Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Checks are required.
