We are a small, ocean-view inn at the south end of Cannon Beach looking to fill a part or full-time, permanent position at our front desk. The person will greet guests, check them in and out and sell rooms in person, over the phone and via email. In addition, we are looking for someone who loves this area and is, or can become, familiar with local activities, restaurants, galleries and shops. This is a busy position that requires someone who is active and energetic. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills or attributes:
Basic cash handling
Basic typing and computer skills
Neat and detail oriented
Professional appearance and demeanor
Team player that is also comfortable working alone
Positive attitude and sense of humor
Dog lover
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will be committed to providing the best possible experience for our guests.
This is a permanent year-round position. Working some holidays, evenings and weekends is required. We offer a competitive wage with vacation and sick time, 401K retirement as well as affordable health insurance after a probationary period.
