Position Overview:
Neskowin Valley School is seeking an energetic and motivated Lead Summer Camp Teacher. This role is a temporary summer position starting approximately on June 23 and ending on August 15th. This role will be the lead instructor for the Summer Day Camp, and manage the camp operations in collaboration with the NVS Auxiliary Coordinator. This role could have significant influence on the curriculum for Summer Day Camp at NVS this year and in the future as we re-build the future of this long standing program. We are ideally looking for a candidate who has the passion and enthusiasm to go beyond leading camp daily, and has the entrepreneurial spirit to help us build something even more incredible.
About NVS Summer Day Camp:
The summer day camp (SDC) program attracts campers from all over Oregon, some locals from the area, and vacationers who spend time at the coast. The curriculum of the program reflects our environment and values as a school. Outdoor exploration, curiosity about the environment, and connections with others are the core of summer camp. Camp will run weekly from June 30- August 15th, from 9:00am - 3:30pm. Campers will range from Kindergarten - Middle School, we typically have between 10-30 kids each week.
