Description We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join our client's team in Oregon City, Oregon. This role will involve a variety of professional and technical human resources duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, and resolving inquiries. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Utilize the company’s human resources information system (HRIS) to select employment information for a variety of human resources projects Assist in the administration of the employee benefits and risk management programs Provide individual and group counseling and guidance to employees and retirees on laws, regulations, policies, and procedures Perform moderately complex data entry and retrieval and make adjustments in HRIS Research and report on benefits premiums and employee participationRequirements Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Benefits Specialist or in a similar role Proficient in Benefits Administration, Benefits Coordination, and Retirement Benefits Knowledgeable in handling Leave of Absence and FMLA policies Strong understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration and Human Resources Management Systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation and benefits data Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Professional certification in Compensation and Benefits, or Human Resources, is a plus.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
