Part-time Groundkeeper/Relief Assistant wanted for Medford Storage Facility
This position is for 3-days/week to help with the day-to-day upkeep and grounds maintenance. Outside duties include but not limited to: keeping drive aisles clean and free of trash and debris, cleaning vacated units, weed control inside the facility, pest control, and routine safety checks.
Other duties include but not limited to: assisting a customer when needed, showing and renting spaces, taking payments, answering phones, as well as any items as needed by the manager.
Monday is a required workday; the other two days can be flexible to meet the manager's needs. Also, needed to fill in as needed when the manager is on vacation or away for training. Work hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Looking for someone that doesn't mind working outside, even when it's cold, hot or rainy. Successful candidates will have good communication skills, able to work independently as well as a team, has some flexibility to fill in when manager is on vacation, attending training and conferences, and can be self-motivated to stay busy. Some computer knowledge is required.
Must be a high school graduate or have a GED and be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Have valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a hiring background screening which includes criminal, DMV, medical and drug testing (including thc).
The facility is drug and smoke free.
This is not a live on-site position.
Pay is $17.00/hour.
