Painter Job Description
At The Oregon Painting Company LLC we value a team-oriented culture, and the ability to grow within our rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, cleaning and filling cracks
Paint surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
Ensure the work area is always clean and safe
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including OSHA and EPA rules and regulations.
Must be able to work in a team environment
Requirements:
A good human being that people enjoy being around!
Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding or lifts
Good physical condition and willingness to work outside throughout all seasons (per paint manufacturer recommendation)
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of various painting techniques is a bonus, but not required
Ability to pass a background check, valid drivers license, and reliable transportation
Can take initiative and work independently as needed
Be coachable and willing to always improve and grow your skills
Willingness to communicate and build a relationship with the homeowner
