Job description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our office is currently open Monday-Wednesday 8-5 and Thursday 7-2.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
