We need a caregiver for my 99 year old mother. This will allow us to have some respite time. We would prefer to have someone come in two to three times a week for 6 hours. Only during the day. Obviously, we would prefer someone who has experience in dealing with geriatric patients. Our mother is ambulatory with a walker. She is fall prone. She will need some assistance with her ADLs. Light cooking for lunch would be required. Usually something from the microwave. Also will need help with her physical therapy. Basically, reminding her to walk and do small exercises like sit to stand, some arm exercises with 1 lb weights.
